Why me?
What makes me qualified to do this work?
(TLDR: I’m awesome and creative + you’re awesome and want to attract the best talent for your biz and care about your team = let’s work together.)
1- Lived work experience: 20+ years working for a dozen small businesses, some of that in management. I understand the frustrations from both sides: being the disengaged and capable employee and also the busy leader who cares about the success of the team and might not understand why they are disengaged.
2- Education and Certifications: I have my Bachelor’s in Education, which I find helpful for what I do. I am a certified Chief Happiness Officer (through Florida International University, received in 2020) and Mental Health First Aider (through National Council for Mental Wellbeing, received in 2021). These are all tools I use to help my clients.
3- Extensive research: I am constantly reading the latest articles and research on anything that is remotely related to work culture. The world is constantly changing, and I’m committed to being up to date and getting different perspectives on approaches to this work. (I’m also a nerd. I love to figure out and learn new things!)
4- Connection to my mission: my personal experiences have led me to this work, and it is my mission to help business leaders like you create healthy and inspiring work cultures that will be better for you, the team, and the business. It is my vision to help create a better world, one work culture at a time.
