Dear Small Business Owner (a love letter)

Dear Small Business Owner,

I know you work hard. I know you are busy. I know you care about your team. But sometimes it’s SO difficult to juggle all the balls well.

  • Marketing

  • Keeping up with advances in your field

  • Managing the money

  • Worrying about the off season

  • Delivering top notch service to customers

  • Correcting mistakes

  • Training new hires

  • Replacing old ones

The list goes on and on.

I L O V E that you are committed to your dream, but I know it can get overwhelming.

I hear you. I SEE you. And I want to help you.

As a business owner myself and someone who has worked for over a dozen small business owners in the past, I get it. You want to do your best, be successful, and inspire your team to do the same, but sometimes it just gets lost in the shuffle.

Maybe you are losing quality people because of it. It’s not your fault, but what you do from this point forward IS your responsibility.

And I want to help you.

You would love to hire a full time HR person to handle managing your team, but it just isn’t in the budget right now. And they are doing ok, right? But did you know there is untapped potential in your team that you aren’t even aware of? They can help you grow your business and together you can do wonderful things, and if you’re not careful you might even enjoy it.

And I want to help you.

Because being a good human and a good business owner can coexist, you just need someone to put you on the right path.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not always going to be unicorns and rainbows.

But putting in some time and effort will do wonders for your work environment.

I want to help you figure out what would inspire your team to be more productive and creative and be happier doing it. Not just for them, but for YOU.

Think about why you started, what you want to accomplish, and who YOU help with what you do. The work you do now will have a ripple effect into the future of your team and your business.

I am committed to help you create a work culture that fosters growth: for your people AND your business.

You can do this. It’s important. Your business deserves it. Your team deserves it. YOU deserve it.

It is my wish for everyone to enjoy their work, to be inspired and challenged, to work towards a common goal and feel good about it. Getting help is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of a strong leader.

And I would LOVE to help you.

Let’s create a business you LOVE in 2020, together.

Forever committed to your success,

Wendy
